Choosing a diffuser refill
Choose the same fragrance to continue a favourite, or start with an empty, suitable vessel and fresh reeds when changing scent. Check the bottle size and product details before ordering; refill sizes vary across the range.
Our reed diffuser refills have an alcohol-free base. They are made for reed diffuser vessels: do not treat them as a substitute for fragrance oils intended for an electric aroma diffuser or burner.

How to refill your reed diffuser
- Read the refill label and protect the surface before opening. Keep the vessel stable and upright.
- Add the liquid carefully without overfilling. A refill bottle may hold more than your diffuser vessel, so do not pour in the whole bottle automatically.
- Fit fresh reeds when changing fragrance or when the old reeds no longer work well. Avoid mixing different fragrance liquids.
- Close the refill bottle securely and retain any remaining liquid in its original labelled bottle, stored as directed and out of reach of children and pets.
Your questions answered
Are diffuser refills the same as fragrance oils?
No. Reed diffuser refills are intended for reed diffuser vessels. Fragrance oils for aroma devices are a different product format. Use each product only in the way stated on its label and the device instructions.
Do I need new reeds when refilling?
Fresh reeds are recommended when changing fragrance, so the previous scent does not carry over. Also replace reeds if they have become clogged or no longer release the fragrance effectively.
Should I empty the whole refill bottle into my diffuser?
Only add the amount the vessel can hold without overfilling. Refill bottles can hold more liquid than a diffuser vessel. Keep any remainder securely closed in the original labelled bottle.
Can I mix two refill fragrances?
We recommend using one refill fragrance at a time rather than mixing liquids. When changing scent, follow the vessel’s care instructions and use fresh reeds for the new fragrance.
