Henry & Co was born from a family with a love of retail, our desire to reinvigorate the high street, and to create a brand that will engage customers and inspire the next generation of independent stores.

The Henry & Co Story

Hi, I'm Mark, Henry’s Dad & the founder of Henry & Co, and I want to share our story. My earliest memory of fragrance was when I used to holiday in the south of France with my family and my grandparents.

I always remember a visit to Grasse where I bought my first aftershave! (I thought I was so cool!) Known as the perfume capital of the world, Grasse captivated my senses and ignited a passion for fragrance that has helped shape my vision for Henry & Co.

The Charm of the peak district

Now rooted in the beautiful landscapes of Derbyshire and the Peak District, we are proud to call this stunning area our home. The natural beauty, fresh air, and tranquil environment of Derbyshire inspire us every day. 

Our fragrances are crafted to capture the essence of these surroundings, blending the charm of the Peak District with the sophistication of Grasse.

My family adventures

At the heart of Henry & Co is our family—myself, Katy my wife, and our three wonderful children: Henry (who the business is named after), Lucy and Alice.

Our love of travelling in our motorhome takes us not only around the picturesque areas of Derbyshire but also across Europe. 

These adventures fill our lives with rich experiences and diverse scents that help to inspire our fragrance creations.

Each journey, whether through the lavender fields of Provence or the pine forests of the Alps, brings new aromas and memories that we aim to share with our customers through our products.

Our family's passion extends beyond fragrances to a love of food from all around the world. We delight in trying new things and embracing local cuisines wherever we go. This culinary curiosity has inspired our son Henry. 

His enthusiasm for cooking and experimenting with flavours mirrors our approach to creating unique and memorable scents.

Nature & Well-being

Nature and well-being are central to our lives and our brand. After experiencing a blood clot, I found even more meaning in my own well-being and the well-being of others. This experience deepened my appreciation for the restorative power of nature and the importance of self-care. 

Our fragrances are designed not only to delight the senses but also to promote a sense of calm and well-being, drawing inspiration from the healing beauty of the natural world.
